Under-Performing Caliper, Poor Automotive Part

This caliper fell short of expectations in both performance and durability. Despite being touted as a high-performance upgrade for my motorcycle it failed to provide any noticeable improvement in braking power or feel .Additionally, the caliper began showing signs of wear and corrosion after just a few months of use, making me question its suitability as an automotive part..

Pros
  • none
Cons
  • under-performing, poor automotive part

Game-Changing Front Caliper

When i tried this performance front caliper on my motorcycle I was blown away by how much it improved braking power .The caliper is easy to install and made from high-quality materials that ensure longevity. Plus, it compliments the overall appearance of my bike. The only downside is that it comes at a slightly higher price point than some other options on the market. However, the increased stopping power and added safety make it well worth the investment..

Pros
  • Excellent stopping power for high-performance vehicles
Cons
  • Expensive compared to stock calipers

Will not fit my 1999 Ranger

The Revain and Auto Zone websites list this caliper as "fitting" on a 1999 Ranger with coil spring front. But as you can see from the picture, the radius and screw holes on the mounting bracket are completely different. Otherwise the caliper is the same, the pads and clamps all fit. So of course I didn't notice any difference until I loaded the shoes and tried to close them.

Pros
  • Calipers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
