This is a good book if you are an intermediate or intermediate seamstress looking for ways to make quality designer clothes at home. The photographs in this book are stunning and a great source of ideas. Power Sewing has a strong focus on simulating high quality clothing that will last a lifetime. One of the big problems I've always had with Betzina is that she generalizes to everyone else. In the world of SB, all women are shaped like pregnant magic wands and dress like eccentric old ladies.
