🚛 Z36-2087 Power Stop Truck & Tow Front Carbon-Fiber Ceramic Brake Pads Review

I have used them less than 2 years and have driven about 25,000 miles. One pad was 60-70% worn and the other fell off the plate completely, again destroying the rotor and creating an unsafe situation. I emailed Power Stop support who fired me very quickly.

I installed them on my 2014 F-150. The only issue I had was getting the wheel off, but once I did the installation was easy and the kit came with all the parts to install them. Haven't noticed that they wear out quickly but there isn't much dust yet so they seem to be good. I'll know more in 20,000 miles

Brake pads looked good; However, the hardware included in the kit had adjustment problems. Some of the clips wouldn't stay in place and popped out of the calipers before the pads were in place. So I used clips from old brakes. The grease pack that came with these pads was very small.

Not as advertised. Boots and accessories were not included in this package. I don't understand why he lists all these parts and they don't come with him. Delayed the exchange process. Not happy with it because I paid extra money to get it. However, the pads themselves are good, making it a worthwhile purchase. It would just be nice to get what you pay for

This is for my 2015 Ford F-150 4x4. see picture for better understanding. This pack mainly comes with 4 external brake pads. Rated 1 star because Amazon says they fit when they don't (especially my car). I'm sure the quality is good but trying to put them on was a waste of time. This could potentially damage the inside of the rotor.

These are the best brakes you can buy for your truck! This is my 2nd set. I bought it because after about 90,000 miles I heard a noise coming from my bike. Good thing the noise wasn't coming from the brake pads. They were only half worn! The noise came from the brake caliper. The top caliper bolt was broken and the caliper was rubbing the inside of the wheel, but the pads were fine. Since I bought a new set I decided to install it and used a torque wrench this time. I bought Power Stop brake pads because I have a 25ft trailer and need extra stopping power and the product description says they were designed for those goals. Unfortunately, they didn't justify their excitement. After 2,381 miles on Power Stop pads I put my old OEM Ford pads back on (removed after 36,925 miles and they were still like new) and immediately the braking performance was much better. I've been using Hawk LTS pads on my trucks for 15 years. Good cold bite and excellent hot performance. But thought I'd give them a try as a cheaper alternative as they get good reviews. Not that I find these pads bad. I will be very happy to continue using them. Riding with them for the last two weeks has been fine. But I can feel the difference.
