Powerbuilt 641870 Magnetic Spark Plug Socket Set - 2-Piece, Silver Review

This product was everything I was looking for BUT the 5/8 socket magneto was not placed straight into the socket so the spark plugs were angled are. This is not ideal due to the possibility of the spark plugs crossing the threads in the head. I did not use the socket before the return period had expired. I would give five stars if the magnet in the 5/8 socket was straight.

These beautiful sockets are as you would expect from Powerbuilt. The fit and finish looks way better than Craftsman's (unfortunately all of their sockets are now made in China). Haven't had a chance to use them yet, but I think magnetic sockets would be much better than those with rubber covers. which can get stuck on the spark plug. I will update this review at my next spark plug job. Update 02/24/2016: Used one of the sockets when working with spark plugs and it worked great. I'd say a magnet

I have been looking for spark plug magnetic sockets for a long time. My current CrewLine (Collar Days) 13/16 and Craftsman 5/8 spark plug heads are quite worn (wellie inserts) and cannot hold spark plugs when removing/installing. I could just go to my local Sear store and buy a new set, but I want to try the new magnetic spark plugs. I searched the internet at a local auto parts store and finally found this set perfect for what I need. Delivery was on time. The packaging says Made in Taiwan…
