I used this tool to unroll an anodised aluminum ring. It worked great. I've been working pretty hard for an hour and there's still a lot of stone left for lots of other work.

NOT for calipers! The design is designed to drill deeper than a traditional caliper. I had to trim (cut) the stones to make it work. Pistons no problem.

I wanted the Powerbuilt Hone 1/2" to 2-1/2" and got 1-1/4" to 3-1/2". It turns out that the selection buttons are upside down. The descriptions in the places do not correspond to the correct detention. Businesses need better proofreading. I really don't need this size but why would I send it back? I take the ones I need elsewhere.

This is a great deal for anyone looking to buy a honing tool without spending a lot of money. It is ideal for small to medium sized medium cylinders and has proven to be durable. When comparing the quality of this instrument to more expensive branded instruments, I found that it offered a comparable finish at a much lower price.

Works as described; My trunk is not very rusty. I powered it with an electric drill and it cleaned out the bore and the stones didn't wear out. It works with a rear caliper where the parking brake mechanism is present. So if I had a honing machine with three teeth I could run into problems. Actually I wanted to send it back thinking I bought a three pin one. Luckily everything worked out.

I got this to sharpen a shotgun chamber and it worked like a charm. The spring tension was very easy to adjust and all I used to get the job done was my drill and some WD-40 to grease. Unless you're a full-time mechanic, the quality was more than enough for the job and it might come in handy for something else. It was either this or a ball mill and I love that this is adjustable.
