These worked, just from a different angle

I used a Powerbuilt 640931 ratchet with them and it worked great. At first I thought I wasted my money because of the bad reviews, but I gave it a try anyway. I assembled the wrong part of the Zen Desk I ordered and was unable to remove the three Allen screws. I turned the screws to get them out and I used the number four on the metric scale and they came out. The last one stuck badly but the trick is you twist it at an angle instead of straight and it came out. I'm glad I didn't have to spendโ€ฆ

Great rounded hex bolt

One of the bolts that hold my CV axle to the wheel hub was rounded with a hex screwdriver and after watching a few youtube videos on how to remove the rounded bolts I decided to try it. It is recommended to drill slightly into the shank to increase the bite of the conical tool but be careful if you drill too much you round off the head even more and the tool will stop working. This worked great on a CV joint, but then I tried it on something else, a harder steel, and ended up rounding the headโ€ฆ

Press them in place to fully seat them!

Works like a charm! Here's the experience. I mounted the crankshaft pulley to the car with the hardware that came with it and used blue Loctite. standard procedure. Then I found that the pulley was too small and I needed a different size. I went to remove the hex screws and each of them just slashed no matter what I did. I used heat to soften the Loctite. However, they only undress. My hex head is in good condition. The screws feel very soft and flat, so they just loosen. There's little you can
