Works great as a solar powered fan but with only 1 USB port and barely charges iPhone.

I ordered this fan to duct hot air out of my 6' x 10' shed. It has two 8 inch gable vents and I wanted to fit them in while blowing out hot air. The product arrived in a box and the solar panel looks well made. The panel is covered with hard plastic. with mounting holes. I immediately connected the fan to the solar panel and went outside. The sun at 3pm was enough to spin the fan and provide a light breeze. One thing I noticed is that the photos show (2) USB ports, but it's only one. It doesn't

Small fan for little ventilation

I tested it and it puts out 12V but the current is low. If it is not in direct sunlight, it will not generate enough electricity to run the fan. There is also no possibility of energy storage. When power is received but not enough to spin the fan, the fan makes an annoying hum. It would be better if there was some kind of regulator built in so that the fan would not be powered if there wasn't enough amp to spin it.
