🔌 PowerLine 90297 4-Port USB Power Adapter Review

I needed a way to charge devices without using ports on my computer, especially when I'm traveling with a tablet that has few (or no) ports. I was a little concerned that the PowerLine 90297 wouldn't charge devices fast enough, but it doesn't. As long as there's an outlet, my USB-chargeable devices are always ready when I need them.

It charges almost everything, I charge my iPads, iPhones, ipos, Samsung G S3, iPhone 5, Blackberry 9900, Game Pad, Plantronix headphones, I have 2 bought them and plug everything in every night. (You need to use your own cables) In addition, it is portable and can be put in your pocket. The power cord can be folded for easy carrying in a bag. It's worth every penny. I've been looking for a USB hub with wall charger for a long time because I have a lot of Apple and Android devices at home. I was hesitant at first after reading reviews that said it wouldn't charge your devices if you connected two iPads at the same time, for example. I can say that I had no problem charging my iPad, iPhone and Samsung GS3 at the same time. It certainly doesn't charge lightning fast, but if like me you charge your devices overnight then it's perfect.

A work in progress and the slim form factor and foldable forks are nice. However, the 0.5W output (per port) makes it useless for anything but overnight charging. Most devices (like the iPhone) can take a 2.0W charge, which means they will charge up to 4x faster if you have a high output charger. It's small and cheap. So buy one for your child or put it in the bottom of your suitcase as a backup charger when traveling. but not as useful as a powerful charger

This adapter does what it promises. The official USB 2.0 specification requires ports to be able to deliver 0.5A, and this charger delivers 5V at 0.5A per port for a total of 1A. Yes, there are some USB power adapters that deliver more current, but this works great. Charge two iPhones and one iPad at the same time. I bought this because I'm tired of having so many things plugged into a power strip (that blocks other plugs). I use all four available USB ports to charge my Motorola Droid, Kindle, Nook Color and iPod. It works fine with all three, but note that your devices will charge at the same speed as if they were connected to a computer.
