Stops working after 90 days

Unfortunately this charger stopped working after less than 90 days. Not even used daily. Guarantee from the supplier 30 days, they say check with the manufacturer.

Pros
  • Fun
Cons
  • Has problems

Revainrating 5 out of 5

very happy with powermax

As a technician at Volvo I also download car software. Powermax is great for battery maintenance. Maintains vehicle battery voltage between 13.8 and 14 volts. very important when connecting to the car's ECM. other escorts are twice as expensive. There are times when I was hooked up to a vehicle an hour before lunch and lunch was back an hour later and the car battery was still at 13.3 volts.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Fair

Not exactly as described

As a charger or battery maintainer this is great and does it very well. Because the constant regulated power supply needed for flashing is not that good. The output is regulated to 14.6V until the battery is fully charged. This can take an hour or more, so from a practical point of view this device cannot be used to flash/program modules. Yes, they make a device specifically for this purpose, but the fact of the matter is that the description of this device is misleading. Another small note…

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Nothing

I am very satisfied with the device and would recommend it to anyone.

I purchased my unit from a retailer located directly in Florida Bradenton. They delivered it to me quickly because I needed it urgently. I have used this device by programming two BMW ABS MODULES and a JAGUAR SEAT MODULE. The device maintained the voltage required to perform the procedure. The voltage was 14.2-14.6 at times and 13.58 on the bottom because the radio and parking lights were on. I am very happy with the device and would recommend it to anyone who flashes, encodes or encodes cars…

Pros
  • New
Cons
