Batteries play with the big ones!

I ordered and received 28 Powerowl AA rechargeable batteries and 16 AAA high capacity, low self-discharge NiMH rechargeable batteries. Following the manufacturer's instructions, I charged them all prior to review. I then ran them all through my new battery tester. Each battery showed a fixed charge. Then I did a rudimentary experiment at home, putting batteries in various battery-powered toys and gadgets, and for a few days running as many as I saw fit to assess their worth: salt and pepper…

Got Powerowl batteries. And let me tell you, it's a pretty big package. Good design. I have used another brand before and hate buying regular alkaline batteries as it is a waste of money. I bought these for my Xbox remotes and that's why my girlfriend stopped using regular batteries. It's been three days and my percentage on my remote has barely dropped to 30% of capacity and I'm testing it on my girlfriend's remote because she plays more than me. These 2800mAh AA batteries offer excellent value for money.

I tested them with the AccuPower LCD Fast Charger IQ338XL and here are the results. Having used rechargeable batteries for years, I can say that I have never seen a discharge test that matches the actual value stated on the battery. As far as I know, there are many crucial factors that go into this rating. I think these batteries performed very well at different discharge levels. I tested 4 out of 12.
