Didn't stick to PSA discs

I bought these discs for my 12 inch grinder. Thumb pressure to stick the new disk onto the sanding drum. He didn't stick. I tried to loosen the glue with a heat gun, pressing again firmly with my thumb and palm. .Time to try another brand.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Undersized and so on.

This is terrible! I only bought them to see if they would be good for at least moderate use. It's not like this. The deal killer is that they are 11-3/4" instead of 12". Unbelievable. They're also a lot thinner than any of the many discs I've used over the years, regardless of price. To top it off, the glue was a joke too. Almost deserted at night. The other two were so embarrassed that they threw themselves in the trash can. live and learn

Pros
  • Certificate GOLS
Cons
  • Has been damaged

Review Built-in grinding wheels

UPDATE! The review refers to the wrong product. These grinding wheels are garbage. The diameter is 1/4" smaller, resulting in a 1/8" clearance from the edge of the paper to the outside edge of our JET disc sander. The glue may be satisfactory, but not nearly as sticky as the woodstock discs we usually buy. In addition, poor packaging can crush the edges of the discs during shipping, rendering 2 out of 10 unusable. You get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • Retrofittable

Glue didn't work with this batch

I ordered them twice but this batch didn't stick to the grinding wheel so I had to use 3M glue. I didn't feel (I don't have any empirical data) that they lasted that long, but it's really hard to gauge

Pros
  • hands free
Cons
  • protection

Don't waste your money or time, they don't stick, they're under 12 "

This review is for 12" 100 grit rims. Don't expect these rims to stick. I had luck with 120 grit so I gave it a try. Vain. Not an inch sticks out, so it's not just the folded edge of the paper that's the problem. And yes, the disc is perfectly clean. Over the years I've bought six packs of 10 grit 120 and 100. A few sticks, enough that I'm finally learning my lesson and won't be buying again. If you want to feel happy and experience disappointment, you have backups.

Pros
  • Solid finish
Cons
  • Some minor issues

Danger! Too small for Power Finishing Tool Parts and Accessories

They were cut too tight to fit properly. So far. As per the attached images, with proper alignment on the edge of the disc, rotating the disc 180 degrees will reveal a 1/4 inch gap between the edge of the sanding pad and the disc. And to make matters worse, the adhesive is INCREDIBLY too strong. Trust me, I never thought I'd be complaining about a grinding wheel that sticked too well. However, if you use a TOO SMALL backing pad, it is extremely important to center it, otherwise there is a risk…
