Danger! Too small for Power Finishing Tool Parts and Accessories

They were cut too tight to fit properly. So far. As per the attached images, with proper alignment on the edge of the disc, rotating the disc 180 degrees will reveal a 1/4 inch gap between the edge of the sanding pad and the disc. And to make matters worse, the adhesive is INCREDIBLY too strong. Trust me, I never thought I'd be complaining about a grinding wheel that sticked too well. However, if you use a TOO SMALL backing pad, it is extremely important to center it, otherwise there is a risk of damaging the wood, cracking the backing pad while sanding, or causing injury. This is nearly impossible as the adhesive will set instantly at the slightest touch, making adjustment impossible. I don't know how good the quality of the sandpaper is because I mixed up all three just trying to position it correctly. I ended up with two broken sanding pads and one stuck off center on my disc sander and I'm too frustrated to bother with it now. I can't believe I'm writing this, but Harbor Freight is way better than this crap.
