Fits all my outdoor power tools.

These conical adapters solved my problem of fitting different size vacuum fittings to the same dust collector and/or industrial vacuum cleaner. First I assembled different parts from PVC or other compounds to make it work. It took away all that hassle and maximized the fit with no clamping friction. Much cleaner connections and imperceptible loss of suction in my trash can. They are also a hard material and do not crack.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Works for bathroom exhaust

I installed a new bathroom light and fan combo and needed something to reduce 4 insulated pipes to 3 exhaust pipes. Long story short, I ended up connecting the tube and the conical end of the POWERTEC adapter, which actually increased the flow in a really short piece of bare tube. Overall, it is solidly made and can be cut off if necessary. everyone.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Expensive

Not suitable for rough plumbing

Bought to hook up my Ridgid Contractor saw to my shop vacuum. It turned out to be true to size, the 4" end was the same diameter as the 4" fitting on the saw, and the 2" end was the same diameter as my shop vacuum hose. 4" end at quarter points so it can be extended to fit the saw fitting and cut the 2" end at a cone to allow the shop vacuum hose to slide in. Assemble and cover with aluminum foil. don't waste money.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Buyers beware, this may be an incorrect installation!

The problem with this and almost all dust collection adapters is that the dimensions are not fully specified. So if you have a "4" fitting on your tool (like my Jet 14 bandsaw), the outside diameters of the fitting and adapter are the same, i.e. one will not fit the other. at the end of the vacuum hose. In my case I was ready to throw this thing away (not worth sending back) but I ended up attaching it to a bandsaw with a gorilla and made an adapter for the vacuum end using 4 folded/glued…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Negative impression
