POWERTEC 70172 Hose Pipe Hangers Review

Look at the picture. It's 3-1/4 inches at the widest part of the curve with flat legs. To get this anywhere around 4 inches you had to bend it all the way and it didn't fit the wall. Sending it back because it doesn't match the advertised material. It will not fit a 4" pipe or hose in any way (without damaging either). I bet he tells his wife six inches.

As far as build quality goes, everything is fine here. BUT - they _do not_ fit_ on a standard 2-1/2 inch flexible hose. If you're hanging 2-1/2 inch OD pipe, they're perfect. But virtually any 2-1/2-inch flexible hose designed for dust extraction has an inside diameter of 2-1/2 inches and an outside diameter of just under 3 inches. work to determine the actual dimensions of the products they offer.

Pretty misleading product page. I just noticed that the text says "screws not included". Not a critical issue, but adds to the expense and inconvenience associated with acquiring screws.

These clamps are too narrow and too short to fit any type of pipe and then screw to the brackets. Crash. Bad description and bad product which obviously was never tested realistically before it was launched. I'm usually easy to please, but not with these brackets. I spent €9 for this.

This is the only comment you need:-❌will not fit 4" flex hose-❌will not fit 4" Powertec couplings-✔️will fit 4" Powertec Y-connectors- These Brackets will stretch out 6-8". I set this to 1x8 (see photo) - the brackets are very stretchy and flexible. That's a good thing. You can drill a screw and the bracket will open wide enough for a 4th -inch pipe (not flex hose!) to attach, then drill another one in. I think this is a good buy if you only use it for brackets and not plumbing.

I bought these to wall mount a 2 1/2 vacuum dust collection hose. I tried to put clamps on the hose, they didn't touch the wall. Even if I break the hose, they just aren't big enough. I thought it might be the brand of hose I was trying to install. I ordered a 20ft Powertec hose with these Powertec clamps, so I took the new hose out of the box and tried the clamps on it. These brackets are for 2 1/2" flexible hose. They work great, exactly as the description says. If you buy them please read the description. They will not fit standard PVC and will not to 4" pipe as they are designed for 2 1/2" hose as described. They are made of plastic and come with screws and anchors. The screws are 1" screws as they are designed to go in Plywood walls to be screwed into, not directly into drywall, so they also come with drywall anchors. If you really read the description…
