Doesn't work for me.

Narrow saw blades are notoriously difficult to adjust on small bandsaws. I've spent hours adjusting the trajectory, thrust bearings, guide blocks, and tension, but I've never gotten an acceptable cut from this disc. I wanted a narrow blade for a special project but declined. It's hard to tell if the problem is with the blade or the saw, but other Powertec blades work well with this saw. I was able to complete my project using a 50 year old circular saw.

Pros
  • Bandsaws
Cons
  • Non-Automatic

Best do not shop in power tool parts and accessories

The second blade I bought is the "Powertec" brand, the first was used once and all the teeth were gone, mine Blame that second one was small and couldn't get to my saw. The company is clearly making cheap products that aren't really designed for real-time performance, as not even a single blade will fit. Don't buy Powertec blades, buy something worth your money as brown and sharp even if you pay 4x the product value.

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • Socket required

First thoughts - Great and cheap Ryobi band saw blade.

4.5 stars for original quality and price. I just picked up a used Ryobi bench band saw and the blade is dull. I quickly looked up Revain and this brand matched my saw. The price was "VERY right" and I decided to give it a try. Easy to fit and align, made a few practice cuts and the blade seemed to cut very well. Will be updated after use for an upcoming project and the rating will be adjusted as needed.

Pros
  • band saws
Cons
  • Can't remember

Do not buy - Power tool parts and accessories

The second blade I bought brand "powertec", the first was used once and all the teeth disappeared, my fault, the second came small and doesn't fit right on my saw. The company is clearly making cheap products that aren't really designed for real-time performance, as not even a single blade will fit. Don't buy Powertec blades, buy something worth your money as brown and sharp even if you pay 4x the product value.

Pros
  • Power tools and hand tools
Cons
  • Not sure

Dull from the start

This blade has been dull since it was brand new. It struggled to get through 3/4 thick oak so I tried it on reclaimed mahogany (the softest wood I had on hand) and it still had trouble cutting and ended up following the grain more often. Missing packaging. can be to blame. While efforts to reduce waste are applauded, it could ruin its cutting edges if it collided with a bunch of other blades for too long. This also resulted in it being sent without Revain packaging, meaning it was slightly…

Pros
  • Saw blades, parts and accessories
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
