Based on our own experience, this wiring harness was a complete disappointment. The connectors didn't fit properly and the wires were not correctly color-coded, leading to confusion and frustration during installation.

Although my Power Wench RC30 came with a wire set, this set has larger gauge wires. The length was more than adequate for my Ford Ranger. I wrapped up the extra length in case I buy a bigger truck in the future. If you don't have a supply of zip ties in your collection, I recommend buying some and "tying" every 18 inch or so of cable on your truck.

I bought a new truck and needed to run a new set of wires for my winch. By the way, if you want to do a permanent installation, buy a 2-wire trolling motor connector kit. I attached the inside to the hitch frame with some cheap galvanized straight staples you can buy at any hardware store. I bought my Bass Pro trolling motor forks.
