The shipping box is leaking

The box is wet because Floetrol is leaking inside the box. Disappointed because I really needed this to complete the project. Floetrol is a good product but whoever packed this box did a very good job. Not enough packaging material inside.

I'm glad I bought the big jug!

Just started pouring acrylic and it works great. I use a mixture of 3-2-1 Floetrol, acrylic paint and water. (Use enough water to get the consistency of melted ice cream) And shake well before each use! I'm glad I bought the big pitcher because it's fun to play with.

Production line inspection required

I could not use the product. This was the second time it was full of granules drying out like grains on my canvas. I filtered with stockings, a sieve and gauze. Nothing works. The company that makes this product doesn't have the standard that it upholds. I won't buy this again

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

The Best Fill Fun in Paint & Primer

Today I tried Acrylic Fill. I also used some silicone oil for potting. Everything worked fine. I will definitely buy more of this when it runs out. Good value for money. Upon further reflection and reuse, I should mention a few downsides. I wish it was a little thinner. It does not liquefy as much as the Liquitex filling medium. When choosing colors, keep in mind that this will lighten them up a bit. The gold I used in the last image turned out to be much lighter than the gold. I still love it…

Terrible Sediment in Floetrol - What a waste

The Floetrol I have has some kind of coarse white sediment. Also, the bottle caps are white, not orange, so I don't know what that means. I have another bottle of Floetrol from the hardware store with an orange cap and no heavy buildup. I won't get a smooth fill with this because it messed up the paint - it looks like sand has been poured into it! What a waste of colour, time and well-being. It's not cheap when it's a complete disaster. I'll probably go back to Liquitex or Golden fill media…

Doesn't match the quality. Terrible and watery!

I've ordered this 4 times now and it's different each time. 2 were very lumpy and had to be sieved. One was great. The last batch was TERRIBLE! When I opened it, there was a strange clear liquid at the top. I've never seen this before. I shook it hoping it could be used normally, but when I added it to the paint I immediately noticed how runny it was. It's like water! Literally so thin! I'm not sure if I received a batch or what. But it's so bad that I can't use it. I'm back and crossing my…

Not comparable to Liquitex for acrylic pouring :(

I bought this in the hope that it could be a cheaper replacement for the Liquitex pouring medium for acrylic pouring, but I'm not a fan. The solution is white and mixes with your colors like white so black isn't black anymore it's gray etc. The solution is also THICK so not only do my colors become less vibrant versions of themselves due to the whiteness, I still have to add water to dilute them I hate it because my colors end up blending and my fills look messy.I am giving 2 stars generously…
