Secret Weapon Against Accidental Bathroom Exhaust Smell

We're going to use these in the condensate drain line. Despite the P-trap, there was an odd sewer smell from time to time. This trap filling valve solves the problem. Expensive but highly recommended.

Pros
  • Pipe Fittings
Cons
  • Mostly Good, But...

The part number does not determine the performance of the product.

Precision Plumbing Products PR-500 is listed on their website as a 3psi differential device. Customs service. I found a PR-500 at Revain and ordered 2 pieces. I received 10 psi pressure devices that didn't work in my kitchen. I spoke to a PPP rep who said their product line changed around April 2020. New units are rated at 3 GPM and older units are rated at 10 GPM, BOTH units have the SAME PART NUMBER.

Pros
  • Hoses, Fittings and Accessories
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

Crazy to use the same part #

I also have a PR-500 that requires a 10psi pressure drop instead of 3psi. Another reviewer writes that the manufacturer updated this model to 3psi in April 2020. Thus, it is evident that old and new stocks are being mixed up. It's crazy to use the same part number for both. It's great that it's now available in 3psi. This problem only needs to be solved with the part number. I will try to order again and dice again and hopefully get the 3 PSI version next time.

Pros
  • Rough installation
Cons
  • unreliable
