Cheap and solid! in Tools & Equipment

Maybe smaller on the side (perfect for me), light weight and surprisingly stiff. I don't use them as pads as they are designed for in-car use. I have a sofa against the wall and I'm tired of it sliding right up against the wall, staining the paint and snapping off the ends of things plugged into the outlet behind it. These spacers that tuck under the sofa provide a nice 2.5 to 3 inch clearance from the back of the sofa to the wall. Fabulous!

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

I trust them, at least for light jobs.

I have a backup generator that always wants to crawl when left unattended and ends up getting stuck on a garage wall or some other place I don't want. You prevent it. I haven't used them to stall my car, for example when it's on a jack while the tires are spinning. To do this, I have a strong metal jack, and it is more convenient for me to trust him. But they're light, colorful, easy to spot in the garage, and good enough for at least light work.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Expensive

Consider using environment and vehicle size

Like: A bit "expensive" but not fun. A lightweight. Relatively small (a nice feature when packing for travel) and in the size range required for my small trailer application. They work (so far). Dislikes: Materials and construction are only good for light use, but the curvature of the tire's surface is designed for larger tires (if a vehicle requires tires of this size, I'd be concerned that those pads wouldn't do the trick). The base (bottom side) is designed for hard, flat surfaces such as…
