💙 Pravana ChromaSilk Vivids Blue Topaz: The Ultimate Long-Lasting Vibrant Color - Unisex 3 oz Review

This was my first time using blue hair color so I have no other products to compare. I used Pravana color (formerly pink, magenta, and purple) and this particular color didn't give me the appeal I was looking for. I thought the color would be more saturated and vibrant. The pink hair is Pravana Magenta and as you can see it is more intense and vibrant than the blue hair.

We went to the salon to get a permanent blue streak. After $35 and 2 hours, it was very faded and faded in 10 days! So we decided to make it at home. It was cheap, simple, and came out the color we expected from the salon. My daughter is so excited!

As always, the right beats from the park! I used blue topaz, magenta and violet. I used some Ionic Aquamarine but this is the only color so far that has really washed out badly and hasn't held up well. All colors are looking good right after a few weeks. I have a lot of gray hair mixed with dark brown hair, two hair colors not known to absorb such fun dyes and yet this product WORKS. ChromaSilk actually covers gray and stays and colors my dark brown hair very nicely. I have about an inch of new growth and my hair still has color. It's not as vibrant as it was for the first few weeks, but I like the faded changes the color is going through. I love Pravana and would never use anything else. However, it is very similar to normal blue. I'm not sure why they think it's a completely different color! Also bought lilac which is exactly the same as lilac. I still love this product!

Pravana color never fails! I saw some photos of color swatches and girls wearing this blue before ordering but I was still amazed at the colour. I immediately ordered a second tube because despite my recent edgy cut my thick hair still needed about 1.3 tubes instead of 1. Well my back doesn't look good right now, but I can't see it! Pravana Chromasilk Vivids is usually my favorite brand but I LOVE this color. This is very reminiscent of the locked teal they used to have. The top was painted with blue topaz, the bottom with blue. At the tips was some very, very faded green turning to aquamarine. But remember that in order to achieve the intended light blue color, the hair must be very light. The box recommends a level of 10. Gone so fast! I followed every letter of the directions and used a color safe shampoo/conditioner and after three showers it was still barely washing out. And after washing, my towels turned blue (and yes, I rinsed until the water ran clear). Don't waste money
