Not the color I wanted. I used a level 20 developer and my hair was pre-lightened. It's a very dark and dirty purple. I suppose it's easy to use, bleeds very little and seems to last. Maybe I'll try again with a different color.

I was tired of my color fading after long washes so I wanted to try something "more durable". It adheres better with less post-dye transfer and minimal damage to the product. While it's a little damaging, it still requires frequent touch-ups, so I think I'll go back to direct dyes.

The result is a purple so deep it's almost black. Not at all like the old long lasting purple color Chromasilk which was a light bluish purple. You should name this plum or something other than purple. My unbleached white roots are covered with this product as opposed to the direct colored version of Chromasilk which only gave them a slight tint. I've been wearing this product on my hair for less than 2 weeks. I use sulfate free shampoo and conditioner and cool water to wash my hair. I washed it 3 times after coloring my hair. The ends are already turning bluish-grey. Very dissatisfied with this product. I contacted their customer service only to be told there is nothing they can do as I am not a professional. it will turn DARK on bleached hair. I've had it for almost two weeks now and it's a bit washed out (as expected) but still quite dark. You almost can't tell it's purple (as opposed to my natural dark brown) unless it's in the sun. If you have naturally green/olive skin, this will look a little paler and yellower because it's so blue.Tip: wash your face with cold water to preserve the color. Your water will never leak when using hot water; Cold water seals it up pretty well.

Used with Pravana 20 Bulk Developer at a ratio of 1:1.5 and processed for 30 minutes gives the color a beautiful dark aubergine shade. Completely covered in gray hair. Perfect color for fall
