Cover is peeling off

When this first arrived there were oil stains inside as if someone had used it and sent it unwashed. I washed it before use. After the second wash, the inner coating came off (photo attached). I threw it away. Will probably buy a wok that comes with a non-stick coating.

Nice weight well finished BUT

Seller sent cleaning and seasoning instructions but after following instructions there is still a gray coating on the inside after seasoning. I would like the seller to reply HOW MANY times you have to do this for it to be safe to eat from. When I cleaned it, was there no gray film on the paper towels after the gray film had baked in? What next?

Excellent warmth, initial cleaning Bear

After a few hours of hard cleaning, the initial protective layer finally came off. YouTube video), 60-grit sandpaper, a cordless drill with a spoked wheel, and finally a grill/oven cleaner. a bit more bowl-like than with beveled sides, which isn't a problem, it just surprised me. The sides retain heat very well and also keep food out from underneath. The wok heats up very evenly from bottom to top. The handle is solid and if it ever comes loose it's easy to fix or replace. Highly recommend the best in pots and pans

This is my second wok from this brand. The first with a round bottom that fits me. Unfortunately, the round-bottomed wok doesn't fit on my stove at home. This wok is easy to care for. I'm surprised at the replies from people saying the wok is rusty or the coating has peeled off. Yes! All natural carbon steel cooking utensils will rust and spices will chip if you neglect simple maintenance and don't understand the nature of iron and basic chemistry. ovens.
