Can be used with electric screwdriver

Excellent for drilling drainage holes in the bottom of ceramic pots. Used with my rechargeable electric hex screwdriver to drill multiple drainage holes. Still works fine. Submerge the drilling site under water to avoid cracking and overheating. Works perfectly! It's so nice to be able to use all of these previously not-so-functional planters.

Perfect set for drilling drainage holes in flower pots

I was looking for drill bits to drill holes in the bottom of my ceramic and terracotta flower pots - they worked great. Remember to wet the drilling area with water while drilling to keep ceramic dust from flying around. They'll probably dull quicker than I'd like, but for the price, I'll probably just buy a replacement set. I wish they had made the same set with a few larger sizes for making big holes in big pots.

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
  • Damaged

The best there is for drilling ceramic tile or glass.

What the hell was I thinking? I've been installing safety rails using a mason's drill bit to drill through ceramic tile for 20 years. Yes it worked but several times I broke or cracked the tile. I tried these beats for the first time a few weeks ago. You know the expression "like a hot knife through butter"? That best describes how they worked! The square shank allows me to use it with an impact wrench, which is much smaller and lighter than a hammer drill. The end result is cleaner, tidier…

Pros
  • Electric drill parts and accessories
Cons
  • Slightly dented
