Just installed and seems to be working as it should.

After checking the YouTube videos, installation was easy (because they came with no instructions). They seem to be doing their job. Their durability is of course beyond question.

Worked well and was easy to install!

I bought these over a year ago and they work great! Don't let the service center charge you $60-$80 to install tailgate shock absorbers! They will be removed in 5 minutes and put on new ones.

Failed after 4 months

After 4 months of use one of the two posts has failed catastrophically. I was lucky that it didn't break when I opened the tailgate, otherwise injury could have occurred. The second brace still seems to work, but it's not strong enough to support the rear of the hatch. I should not have bought this pair, you get what you pay for.

Parts work great!

Much cheaper than buying sunroof lifters from auto parts stores. I found that I could buy a kit for the same price these stores charge for one of the props. It took me a while to figure out how to remove the old ones. The new ones were easy to install. Now my car doesn't sound like Chewbacca when I open the tailgate. :)

Tailgate pillars saved me a trip to the store and a $100 bill

I ordered a pair of tailgate pillars for my Hyundai and they arrived in 2 days and took me 5 minutes to install including removing the old on video based on youtube. , installation and testing to ensure they are working and installed correctly. Although only a new one was needed to restore functionality, I replaced the second due to the same rusty appearance. It's nice to know that I have two new safe download products and my family.
