Stops working after 3 months, my car won't start

The starter stopped working after 3 months and now my car stopped working, 2 mechanics said after many tests that the problem is with the starter

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Something else

It's buggy. Point!

The starter worked 2 days and cost me $1300 to install and replace. I will never buy Revain aftermarket parts again. One star because zero isn't an option.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction
Cons
  • Modern

Short warranty window

The starter has been installed since April. The 24th just had trouble clicking a couple of times before it triggered, didn't realize it had such a short warranty, my fault I'll take a good look at the description before buying.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

No direct replacement.

Bought for 2007 Pacific 4.0. It had the wrong direct mount connectors. At first glance, they look similar enough, but the problem wasn't realized until they were found on site. Very disappointing for a direct replacement part.

Pros
  • practical thing
Cons
  • vaguely remember

Buy better. Don't do it twice

I replaced the faulty starter with this a few months ago and clearly I will have to do it again as the new starter is faulty. I'm sure I could send the starter back and get a replacement, but the labor involved in replacing them prompts me to upgrade to a higher quality one. These starters are not easy to change. There are few screws, but everything is also difficult to get.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • nothing

Clicked but did not start Very disappointing new starter very difficult to replace and broke right out of the box. I had to buy another starter from my local parts store for double the price. Very disappointing. I found out later that I had a bad new battery, so that starter motor might actually have been fine. After another new battery and another new starter, the car starts perfectly. The starter may have burned out.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Weight
