👍 High-Quality KazTex Latex Casting Rubber – Ideal for Mask Making, Prop Making & Dip Molding Review

Arrived very quickly, ideal for fixing flat prostheses. I work with a lot of latex and the smell isn't as bad as other casting latex. Very thick throughout and perfect for all shapes, can't wait to use it on a mask. The only problem is that when opening it the cap was cracked and some of the latex came out. I had to tape it shut but I was a little worried it would dry faster. Apart from this great product. Will definitely buy again!

I was disappointed to receive my latex container with a damaged lid which was held in place with tape. There were also latex residues on the outside of the lid. Contents were about 2.5 inches below the cap, looked like it had fallen off, the cap broke and some latex leaked. I had to save it because I needed to use it right away. I hope that quality control will improve in this business. .I would have given a higher rating for the value but I didn't get a full bottle.

When fresh the latex is great. Although the product is primarily used by people who create multiple layers to create a flexible shape, I use it as a ceramic glaze release resist a few times a year. All I need is two coats and the rubber comes off beautifully. However, my only complaint about the product is the shelf life of around 1 year. I'm very careful not to expose the open container to air to allow it to harden. I always take a small amount for immediate use and close the lid. But…
