Nice set to start with.

Unlike cheap TiN coated bits, this set cuts hardwood, plywood and acrylic really well and is reasonably priced. Do yourself a favour, spend a few bucks more and start here. I've used them on several projects over the past few months and have no complaints.

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
  • Expensive

These countersinks are great for mild steel

These countersinks are great for mild steel. I ran them at 470 rpm and got clean mild steel countersinks every time. I used plenty of cutting fluid and maintained a good feed rate to make thin rolls of steel while the cutters cut into the workpiece. I'm more than impressed with the performance and the small metal storage case is a nice plus too. Great price for a great set.

  • Electric Drill Parts & Accessories
Cons
  • Not Sure

Pretty impressive for the money

For a cheap set of countersinks I was very impressed. Countersink twenty-two 5/16-inch holes in a 1/4-thick board with a router. Cut the last hole just as well as the first. I didn't even use cutting lubricant as the bit seemed to be clogging with sawdust. However, I let the bit cool down after every three or four holes. Used them with a hand drill, the piece I was working on was too big to make on a drill press.

Pros
  • Power Tool Parts and Accessories
Cons
  • Small Parts
