🍺 Enhanced Front Cup Holder for BMW E39 5 Series 528i 525i 530i 540i M5 1997 - 2003 Review

I liked the fact that my BMW has the option of a cup holder, just wish it could be attached to the console. Works sell less, my water bottle gets stuck, and then the bottle comes. So I just have to hold it while I pull out the bottle. Great for coffee mugs and glasses, still great value for money.

Didn't know there was another shape with a slot between the cup holders. It has SMALL holders that only fit a soda can. The first slot accommodates your phone, which is much needed in the rare 5 Series sedans. The fit and finish was good just not in actual use.

This cup holder is much better than the factory one. These things are useless! It fits perfectly, no tools or modifications are required. It just sits in the slot and I had no issues with the included adhesive. One cup holder is larger than the other to fit a smaller bottom cup or soda can. I am completely satisfied with that!

There is a 2001 BMW. The original coasters are a joke. Not only are they so low on the mug that the mug easily tips over, but they are also thin and break easily. This replacement, on the other hand, fits snugly in the cavity and is large (deep) (about 1 inch) to hold coffee mugs well. Installation took about 5 seconds. Hats off!

Easy to assemble. Just fold up the old cup holders and put them in their place. Be sure to thoroughly clean the area where the glue will be applied so that it adheres best. Also, don't forget to put enough stress on the coasters for a reasonable amount of time so that they hold up well. I put the cup that was too big in the holder and after pulling it out, the coasters came with it. They're a bit small, but given their stock and poor layout on BMW's part, they do their job well. .

I was initially skeptical about purchasing this product as e39 aftermarket items are cheap and prone to breakage, but I was wrong. The package arrived two days after I placed my order. I opened to examine the contents; The material is durable hard ceramic plastic, solid construction and exact fitting to the console. I have photos below for more details. The product arrived earlier than expected. It was very easy to install. I should have taken photos prior to installation but I was too excited to look. The reason for the 5 stars is that it fixes a major design flaw. BMW with $2 plastic and two sticky pads. So the item has two sticky pads on the bottom that you use to attach the cup holder to a small shelf just in front of where the factory cup holders recede. I first cleaned the spot and then glued it.
