Description of πŸ”© High-Quality Plastic Drywall Anchors for Drilling

Package includes 40 premium nylon anchors and 40 over-sized head screws for safe slip free hanging. Nylon is a premium plastic that is extremely ridged which makes these superior to the standard flimsy plastic anchors you will find elsewhere. Can be used on 3/8", 1/2" or 5/8" drywall (gypsum board) or plasterboard. The over-sized head screw is ideal for hanging pictures, artwork or any frames that use a wire to secure to the wall. Holds up to 75 pounds. Installation with a standard screwdriver means that no special tools are necessary but a powered drill can be used for easier use.

trash, they are trash.

Complete nonsense. I've never hit a wall without any problems. They break off before they're drilled and then you can't get them out. Don't waste your time or money.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Negative impression

Do not buy in fasteners

I tried to screw them in and they immediately fell off and turned to powder, the "star" turned into a large circle without a clutch. Ended up knocking on the last corner or so. Then I put the screws in and made a mistake so I tried unscrewing them a bit. Not with this one either. Only the screw could not be loosened, instead the whole dowel came out. Basically a worst case product.

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • I don't remember

Don't buy, terrible quality.

Many anchors ripped off when screwing into a pre-drilled hole in the wall. I've never seen that in a plastic anchor like this one. The screws also arrived with a dented head and virtually no threads, as shown in the picture. I will not buy again.

Pros
  • Drywall anchors
Cons
  • unreliable

Ignore the negative reviews

I don't know what the negative reviews are about. Just drill a small pilot hole and you're good to go. Yes, they don't cut well. But I have everything from shelves to hardware cabinets to first-aid kits hanging from these baddies. Durable and easy to use. Would order again.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Fake

Frustrating to use

These anchors are frustrating to use. It's cheap quality on the drive (the part of the plastic anchor piece on the head that looks like an "X" where the screwdriver touches to screw it in). It always breaks in the drive before the plastic anchor is fully inserted into the drywall. You can't unscrew it if you want to pull it out. The metal screw goes in and you can use it to screw the plastic anchor in further, but then you run the risk of the metal screw going too deep into the anchor. I need…

Pros
  • Fasteners
Cons
  • Very expensive
