Sent back and ordered another pump from another seller. I paid about $7 more and got the exact same import model pump. After installation, this pump worked fine, only it was difficult to steer when idling, there was not enough pressure. I used Triaxx Synthetic power steering fluid which turned out to be a problem. Apparently Triaxx has a lower viscosity than my car needs. I changed the fluid in the usual way and now everything works perfectly. The moral is firstly buy the cheapest on Revain if…
