And packing the leaves into the sealed zip bags well clean and safe. Convenient to use and keep for a long time. And they will be surprised by the fragrance of it. ✅ EASY TO USE - Just drop a few leaves into your tank. Betta will start nibbling on the leaves, using them for cover, or may even lay eggs on the leaves. Or can cut to small a few pieces about 4 × 4 cm. for convenience and beauty in your aquarium. And discard the leaf after 1 week and replace it with a new leaf. And you will be surprised at their better health. ✅ Great Source of Food When an Indian Almond leaf starts to decompose, even after just one or two days, fish or shrimp will migrate to the leaf and spend most of their time picking at it. These leaves seem to be one of their favorite foods. Even as the leaf starts to degrade to nearly nothing, they will continue eating whatever is left down to the last morsel. Many keepers have reported higher breeding and shrimplet (baby shrimp) survival rates when they use these leaves. ✅ A location for fish to spawn Many fish release their eggs (spawn) on or underneath fallen leaves. This helps hide eggs from predators or from washing away. And many fish will only spawn under certain water conditions. And the reduced pH and water hardness may be exactly what is needed to trigger your fish to spawn. ✅ Creating Hiding Spots & Protection The dark coloration that comes with Indian almond leaf tannins can do a lot to make your fish feel safer. That slight staining helps to disperse light differently and creates a more comfortable environment for shyer fish. On top of that, the leaves themselves offer plenty of places to hide! Smaller fish and shrimp will appreciate this extra protection the most. They can quickly hide under the leaves whenever larger fish approach.

Good but not as pretty as the picture

OK but not as pretty as the picture, the water is a bit brown but that's ok as long as it serves its purpose and the water is fine for my beta versions securely holds. It also needs to be "weighted" a bit.

Pros
  • Easy to set up
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Large leaves Good tannins!

The leaves are happy! They are large and there are several smaller ones which we started with first, they were cooked first to help them sink and release tannins and it worked! The tanks look great and it's only a day or two after we installed them, you can't see it in the pictures but the tanks are definitely darker! And we have an extra ton so we are very happy with this purchase!

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • Safety

Brochures received. I have previously purchased this type of sheets from other sellers. No matter who you buy the leaves from, cook them for at least 3-5 minutes. After that, put the leaves in cold water for 10-30 seconds and then drop them into the tank. It takes a while for the tannin to release, so don't panic and toss all the leaves in the tank if you don't see any tannin for the first few days.

Pros
  • New in my collection
Cons
  • Secret
