Sumamente duros is good for spare parts

Article cerrar "el capó" or compuerta del motor es bastante duro, carece de la suavidad necesaria para cerrar sin mucho esfuerzo.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Interchangeability

The new struts work GREAT!

The old ones were a bit difficult to remove but the new ones fit very easily. I've tried removing them but they're really stuck. The hood also closed with difficulty. just unbelievable!

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • No automatic

Works great and easy to install

I was able to remove the old racks and install the new ones with no problem. They worked great after installation. The removal and installation took about 15 minutes and met all my expectations.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Almost never

Good jack stands for jack stands

I installed them on the hood of my 2002 Ford Explorer. They snapped straight into place - the whole process took about 10 minutes to take off the old ones and put on the new ones. Great lift - now the bonnet rises quickly. Good value for money.

Pros
  • Heavy duty
Cons
  • Hard to tell

perfect fit as described. Very Strong

Over the years our '02 Explorer hood lifters have weakened enough that a light wind will close the hood. Bought these (at a bargain price) props. They really do the trick. I think they offer more "boost" than the new OEMs.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction
Cons
  • Empty

Great hood hold

I was glad to use these made in China parts on my US truck (made in Canada) because they were so cheap. They hold the hood and are easy to assemble. Where else can you find 2 hood posts for less than $15? They fit my 2010 Explorer exactly. If this isn't exactly what you need, yours may already have been badly replaced.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very expensive

thought i might have a bad part

arrived today as expected. After putting them on I thought maybe I got a bad kit as some others have commented. I couldn't close the hood; so much force was used that the hood began to flex at the hinge points. I've pushed them back multiple times and manually forced them to close (pushed with my full body weight because that's the only way they could move and I'm not a small person). Put them back on and now they seem to be working as expected. Time will tell how long they last but as long as…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • only available in black
