2. Defective headset and NO customer service

This is the second Presonus headset to fail after moderate use. This lasted less than 90 days before the right ear stopped making noise. Same thing happened with the pair that came with the record I bought previously so I had to buy them. I know these aren't the most expensive headphones, but I'm willing to sacrifice some sound quality for the price, but not total uselessness after a few months. Presonus support is a nightmare. After contacting them for support, all I got was a work order form…

Pros
  • Enhanced bass response
Cons
  • Safety

The defective item was first received from the Revain warehouse.

I purchased this from Revain's warehouse and have not used it on a recording project since receiving it. The box looked immaculate so based on the description on the website I assumed it was in perfect condition. I just plugged them in today and there is no bass and the sound is hoarse like the cable snapped. I plugged in my old headphones and the sound is ok. I changed the plug adapter to see if that was the problem but the sound stayed the same. They were sent as bad headphones and now I…

Pros
  • Patented Finely Tuned Acoustic Chamber
Cons
  • Sad Package

Okay, but at a professional level as expected.

I have been using Presonus products for a long time and I find them to be the best studio gear available for the working musician. With that being said, I had high hopes for them, but they weren't quite up to the standard I was expecting. They are well made, the sound is clear and the controls are simple. My only issue is that the volume wasn't high enough for studio use. It gets a decent level with a Bluetooth device, but you can't go as high as it could, and plugged directly into an audio…

Pros
  • Detachable unbalanced cable
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Good sound for little money

Are these really 4-star headphones? For less than the $30 I paid, they're actually a little bit better. If the cord was detachable they would get an extra star. However, it is solidly built, heavy and durable. I don't expect a short at all and use these as one of my main pairs - the others being the Sennheiser 439 (lightweight, comfortable but boring), the Superlux 668B and the ATH M40x and ATH-IM70 headphones. Sonically closest to the 668B. A bit bright - but without annoying noise. With…

Depends on user intent

***Update*** HD9 cans won't close. That's probably why they sound really good but flow like crazy. Why hasn't anyone in the world mentioned this? This thing has seven or eight holes on the back of the cans. They are the size and style you would see if you took the pads off. They have holes on the top and are hard to see, you need to turn the mug over and look at the "seam" part. I still disagree with these banks, but you should consider them semi-open. I need to modify these guys so I can use…

Pros
  • Comfortable, durable ear pads and auto head fit poor
Cons
  • Useless features
