🧳 Travel Magnetic Games - 6-in-1 Pressman Collection Review

Good concept for switching between games by turning a gear, however the games should be laminated and not have a plastic window. The pieces stick to the board depending on how you place them on it. We love games and overall we recommend this product.

It was fine. My kids (7, 6 & 4) had trouble keeping track of the pieces so I wish the magnets were a little stronger and a little bigger. The pieces are small and stick to the board, but knock off easily. I think it's better geared towards older teens and adults. If I had the choice to buy it again, I wouldn't.

All parts are very small magnets, easy to lose, only 5/16 inch high and 1/4 inch diameter. All chess pieces are the same shape, with different stickers on top (which you have to stick hard to stick). Not recommended for children under 10 years old. Older kids might like this if they are very careful not to lose parts, but I would have preferred a better quality set.

Probably one of the worst purchases I've ever made. The magnets weren't strong, the pieces kept falling off the board. The storage compartment below also makes little sense. You have to take out all the pieces and you can't put them back in during the game (since you have to flip the game). Finally in Checkers you need to be able to stack checkers if you are "King" but they didn't stack so the game really couldn't be played. Save money and buy a coloring book for your next plane trip.

The moving parts themselves are not magnetic. They do not attract or repel and will not adhere to any steel surface. There is no attraction or adhesion between the pieces and unfortunately with a very weakly magnetized playing surface. As a travel game, the set is completely useless. With the slightest jolt, the pieces slide off the board or deviate from the ideal height.
