Better than the one I had

I had a similar one that had strong water pressure from the tiny shower nozzle, causing the water to slosh all over the sink. So I looked for a better one and bought this one. Water comes out gently with less pressure and works great. I love it.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • A few minor things

Cheap and does what it's supposed to.

Pack of 6. I've just installed three, they were easy to install, I had to use a wrench to get the old one off, but this one was only finger tight and that was enough. if they last at least six months, they will likely pay for the water they save themselves. I will update this if they break sooner.

Pros
  • Great Design
Cons
  • Legacy Model

Does what it says on the tin but...

So they work great but the picture is a bit misleading. They seem to feel like it has 2 flat sides so I can use a wrench to turn them, but it's completely round. So when I put it on I scratched it a bit. Otherwise they do what they advertise! Let's see if my water bill goes down!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Not bad

Reduces water! - Kitchen sink aerator

I have not tested this when filling the bottle but it seems to reduce water consumption. You may find that washing your hands takes a little longer, but it's perfectly acceptable if you want to go green. I believe reducing the flow will likely have negative effects, at least for me. When I check the real thread I'll update this.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Damaged

Save water! It will pay off in the end.

They look cheap but for the price you can't beat them. Some people complain of a decrease in flow, but that's only because they have extra dirt in the water. It is normal for the flow to decrease over time. (Think of it like your air filter at home.) If this happens, just remove it and clean it. I've had mine for a few months and have yet to have it done.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Thin

So far so good - kitchen and bathroom plumbing

I originally purchased this product because I was looking for ways to save on my water bill and replacing faucets with a vented 0.5 faucet head was the one Number 1. I haven't received my new water bill with the new taps yet, but I'm already noticing that I'm using less water. My original faucet head was about 2.0/2.5 and I felt like I was wasting gallons of water just brushing my teeth, but I feel better now that there is a lot less water coming out :-) I will you keep updated about this…

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Some concerns

Unusable product: Kitchen sink aerator

Initially the aerator worked. Over the course of several days, the flow slowed, grew worse, and eventually turned into a trickle. I bought a pack of six, used three first and replaced them with the rest. Same result after a few days. Tried washing and cleaning by soaking in vinegar. Nothing works. I suggest if you are in doubt about the water supply then this product is not for you. Our water isn't saturated with minerals, but something is obviously wrong because they worked from the start.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Little things

Nice water savings!

That's great! They work better than the 1.0 GPM units we had before. We like single streams even more than one big aerated/bubbly stream. It also leaves less watery mess around the sink. I have switched all of our bathroom fixtures to these units and will be installing them in our rentals. I haven't had them long enough to see how they fare in our hard water, but I'm sure there's nothing white vinegar can't fix. Buy these to save on your water bill without sacrificing print and ease of use!
