Good reliable product! They don't stretch far but are durable. I used them for homemade RV step moldings. I used wire extensions to reduce the tension.

If I remember correctly, we bought the Outrigger brand step mat from Camping World. Don't ask me how, but on our last trip we lost a source. These Prest-O-Fit springs are way better than the springs that come with the kick mat. The sensor doesn't look thicker, but the metal itself is much stronger and denser than the rest. I can definitely tell the difference. I very much doubt that we will lose any of these sources in the future.
