Prevue Pet Products BPV1165 Plastic Review

Not too big for every bird, but too small for some. I have a sunscreen that goes perfectly with it. The medium and large are undersized because they bend the tail feathers. The gigantic size is what every bird of this size needs. Too small for my yellow slumbering Revane.

I have Caique and she used to sleep in the cabin every night but since she bought this cozy bag she sleeps in it now. SHE LOVES IT, obsessed! TIP: Although the size is "Jumbo", it only fits birds up to parakeet size. This does not suit an African Grey, Rhewain, Cockatoo or any other large bird. Excellent goods.

I thought it would be perfect for my Sun Conure. Her toe ended up getting stuck in the woolly weird fur inside. What should have been comfortable made her very uncomfortable. We were able to cut the strings but I wouldn't recommend this for a bird that may be digging around trying to build its own nest. This would probably be excellent for some small mammals. It's really soft and cozy.

Yesterday I received my cozy bag, it was about 20 times bigger for my sugar glider and too big to fit in the HUGE cage we prepared for her. But Prevue was very understanding of my request for a refund and immediately accepted it. My return was processed as soon as USPS scanned the return package from my mailbox. There are no complaints about the Prevue. Just be very, very careful with the size you order.

It is very large and looks just like the picture except I was sent yellow/purple instead of green/cream as shown in the picture. I may have looked at the description but I don't recall the product page saying colors may vary. Also, the fleece has a hole on the inside, it came right out of the box. Not sure how this will hold up my bird, I think it will poke a hole in the fur once it realizes it's there. I find the price for it a bit high due to the build quality.

I have a Sun Conure that is very demanding (not to mention loud and noisy) when it does not have a suitable nesting site. She tore up the last of her Tee Pee hanging beds which I bought about 6 years ago and can't find anywhere else. When I saw this I thought she would love it. I ordered jumbo although she's not that big because she loves to carry things to her bed and then lay eggs which she just sits on until I drag them away and throw them away.
