Cats don't like it in dogs

At first all 4 of my cats loved this food but I quickly realized that it was simply because it was "new" food to them. Like most cats, they appreciate the opportunity to eat something unusual. After 2 times only 2 out of 4 were still interested in this food. Then the two cats started throwing up on the food and neither of them was about to vomit. I have stopped feeding them and will not buy them again.

My cat is very sick!

CHANGE MY REVIEW FROM STAR TO 1 STAR. DO NOT BUY! My first rating: The cat liked it. He ate it quickly and asked for more. But now I don't think it's suitable for cats anymore: after a few days on this food, my cat got severe food poisoning and he wouldn't stop vomiting. At first I didn't realize it was the food when he got sick, but I stopped feeding him those nuggets to give him something more fluid and soothing to his stomach. When he recovered I made him a bowl and he vomited shortly after.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities

My bengal loves it!

So far, so good. My 12+ Bengal loved it from the start and it's the only food he licks the bowl clean from. If you see my photos, I chop 2 nuggets and mix them with 4 tablespoons of Fruitables Cat Chicken Broth. Whenever I can, I try to reheat the chicken broth in the microwave before adding the nuggets and breaking them up by hand or with a spoon. Once you've warmed up the broth, make sure it's not too hot before giving it to your cat. I give him this twice a day as wet food. Since adding this

Finally found something my 9 year old cat doesn't vomit and loves it

My cat has had problems with dry food for the past 4 months. Before that, he was doing well all his life. So I kept trying new brands. But after a while he kept spitting them out. I went to Blue Buffalo and Wellness. Both caused him diarrhea and vomiting. Instead I tried to cook for him and it worked while trying to figure out what to do. I researched further and came across some good reports on the raw food diet. Decided to try it, he liked it. He ate dry cat food, but an hour later he…

High quality, great solution for diabetic cats

I feed it to my diabetic cat Millie when she gets her injections. I used to feed her chicken flavored food and she liked it, but she preferred the cheaper food that I fed her siblings. In the end she refused to eat it and I fed her cheaper food. I chose the chicken and salmon flavor as I figured the salmon might be more enticing with a stronger flavor. Millie tends to be overweight so I want her to eat quality food. she eats it Well, she mostly drinks liquids, but I'll take what I can. I only…

decided he hates the food he's been eating for over 10 years.

About six weeks ago my pickiest cat, Squirl, decided he hated the food he had been eating for over 10 years - I think the manufacturer changed the recipe because it was thinner and had less meat . He continued to eat his favorite treats, but we gave him over a dozen different premium canned foods and he didn't eat them. He only tried two. He lost over five pounds (okay, he was a whopping 15 to start with) and we were starting to get frustrated. Since he seems to love freeze dried salmon treats,

easy to make and mostly cat friendly

needs 5 nuggets to make 1.05 ounces instead of 3 1/2 as listed. 1 ounce of Nuggets contains only 161 calories, which is not enough for most average cats weighing 8-10 pounds. So a 5.5 ounce bag will last you even 4 days if you only feed it to your cat. that's 7.5 to 8 packs of food per month per cat, which would cost between $112.42 and $120 per cat. Unfortunately, this is not feasible for most cat owners, who often have 2 or more cats :( . Our cats only get 1/3 of the daily portion, because…

My picky cat and I both love him in different ways!

This food is the tastiest. My picky cat wouldn't touch regular raw frozen food and to be honest she smelled awful to me so I don't blame her. And it was also annoying with thawing, serving cold (which she doesn't like), throwing it out if she didn't eat it all at once, etc. But this freeze-dried food is a hit with both me and my cat! She used to be a shepherdess, even with canned food she ate little by little for many hours. Everything is gone with Primal! I don't know if it's because she…
