I feed it to my diabetic cat Millie when she gets her injections. I used to feed her chicken flavored food and she liked it, but she preferred the cheaper food that I fed her siblings. In the end she refused to eat it and I fed her cheaper food. I chose the chicken and salmon flavor as I figured the salmon might be more enticing with a stronger flavor. Millie tends to be overweight so I want her to eat quality food. she eats it Well, she mostly drinks liquids, but I'll take what I can. I only grind half of one of the pills as finely as I can so she gets something when she drinks the liquid. My husband and I are food addicts so I want to give her the best food I can afford. I've done a lot of research and Primal is one of the best. I fed my dog with skin allergies venison flavored for the last year of her life when her appetite wasn't what it used to be. I love this brand. I will continue to use it as long as I can afford to give Millie what I think is best.
