Cheap unreliable chain. I saw the same one for $8 but paid $15 thinking the quality would be better but no. Hope this does the job but I have a heavy storm door. Wanted black to replace the old silver. The old one was much heavier.

A great simple product to protect expensive investments. The instructions were easy to understand and installed quickly. Help was to hook and bend our door with two gas struts. Only 2 days later the door suddenly flew out of my hand and the chain could not be bent at all.

This works, but the S clasp that holds the chain to the door flexes in high winds. I had to replace it with a steel hose clamp as a good gust of wind turned the S-shaped fastener into an L-shaped one. This would cause the wind to violently grab the door and bang against the house. It's not good and that's why I bought it to quit. However, with the updated "Bracket" he copes with his task.
