INSTALL OR REPLACE DRAWER TRACK HARDWARE – Whether you are installing new drawers or repairing one that won’t open or close properly, Prime-Line Drawer Slide Kit fits most bottom/side-mounted drawer systems. The drawer slide kit is constructed of steel tracks with a white powder coated finish and self-lubricating plastic rollers. SELF-CLOSING DESIGN – The smooth-gliding tracks in the Prime-Line R 7212 kit features a self-closing design that commences at the final 2-1/2” from the end of the 19-3/4” long tracks when closing. EASY TO INSTALL – Installation is quick and easy, and the kit contains all necessary fasteners. Installation instructions are included and also available on Prime-Line’s website. 75 LBS MAX LOAD CAPACITY – The maximum load capacity for the drawer slide kit is 75 lbs. and is for use in 20” deep drawer cabinets. It features a positive stop in the closed position and a double stop in the extended position that locks your drawer open, so it cannot be pulled too far out and fall off the tracks. Fragile but functional

I usually buy my cabinet hardware from cshardware.com but I needed them urgently so I bought them with a 2 day delivery time. They seem to be doing their job well, but they are MUCH more fragile than what I'm used to. I have to believe that they wear out or break relatively quickly. As soon as I get better quality versions I will replace them. This is another modern example of manufacturing companies specifying the bare minimum of material required to create a product. They're perfect if you're

The perfect upgrade for broken, missing or defective drawer slides.

I bought these with matching rear support brackets (Prime-Line R 7227). The mounts are clearly marked "MADE IN USA". These tracks don't indicate where they were made, but I suspect they were made in the US as well. It's nice to see that most things in this price range are rather made on foreign soil these days. They became fashionable very quickly, and now my Bob dresser with center rails, from which all the ball bearings have long since leaked, works better than new. These side rails slide…

Excellent replacement

We have a new house, it is two years old at the moment and some of the drawers have broken slides. The problem is plastic rollers that break under the pressure of heavy objects in the drawers. (I don't understand why they make large drawers with lightweight runners!) These replacement runners fit my Cabinets 2000 drawers perfectly. A few assembly tips: Measure the length of the old runner. At 19 3/4" order a 20" rail. Then use the magic marker to mark the position of the screw holes on the old…

Find another brand of drawer slides

I don't know how it got over 2,000 positive reviews. However, if splints were the right size and fit, we wouldn't be a good substitute. As stated by several reviews, these splints are very flimsy and flimsy. I needed a replacement set for my son's dresser. The mismatch of the holes and bolts prevented the bolts from being flush with the metal, and the wheel would bump against each bolt. With the constant opening and closing of the box, the impeller wears out in no time. For a few bucks I bought

Fragile thin metal, too few screws and no countersunk

In general, they can be used with finesse, proper support and own supply of additional screws. The metal is thin, so the guides are weak. No problem for the rail that attaches to the drawer, but the rail that attaches to the cabinet needs extra support. There are two ways to attach the rails to the cabinet: 1) frame mounting directly to the side panels and 2) front mounting with rear drawer slots (Prime-Line R 7227). I don't see how they can be used with a rear drawer socket. I used the frame…

My son has been sliding his closet drawers for years and one of the drawer slides has become bent and is getting stuck. I needed 21" rails, but 1) they're harder to find and 2) they're significantly more expensive than the 19 3/4" rails I bought from Revain. I figured the 1 1/4 inch difference wouldn't matter, and I was right! As long as you line up the slides with the front of the drawer it will work fine. No, the shorter slides don't open that far. .but 1 1/4" is almost imperceptible…
