They are perfect for industrial and scientific applications and will not disappoint. On the downside, they can be a bit pricey, but the investment is well worth it for their quality and performance. Overall, these are excellent fasteners that are sure to exceed your expectations.

Cons
  • May strip easily if too much pressure is applied

Breaks under low torque

30% of the screws broke during installation. I had a HomeDepot screw that I inserted into a pre-drilled hole, removed, and then used those screws. Some have broken. I will not buy again.

Pros
  • Has a sharp pointed end
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

HORRIBLE SCREWS - ruined my door brackets

I agree with everyone who says these screws break - they are THE WORST. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I tried hanging some decorative door brackets. Each bracket required 4 screws for a total of 8. Of those 8 screws, 3 broke and are now stuck in the door frame. Those who screwed in all the way in without breaking had their heads blown off. Those screws may not have cost that much, but they ruined the door mounts.

Pros
  • Diameter & Length: #6 x 1-1/4"
Cons
  • Requires socket
