Sturdy and Reliable Phillips Plated Screws

These screws are a godsend for any industrial and scientific use! They are plated to ensure long-lasting durability. The Phillips heads make it easy to unscrew and rescrew. The only downside is that the threads are not as sharp as similar screws in the market, but that is something you can easily work around. Overall, I highly recommend these screws for anyone in need of reliable fasteners.

Pros
  • Good quality and durability
Cons
  • The Phillips head may strip easily if not used with the correct size and pressure.

Garbage. Even with a pilot hole of the right size.

I can not recommend. I use them as brackets for shelves in the garage. I drill 3/16" pilot holes and almost every second one breaks. Made in China. The bag says PLPCI.

Pros
  • price
Cons
  • little things

Good quality and rides well.

I made this into a bed and shelves for my van. Using 3/4" plywood, the butt joint with these screws driven through the corners and shelves is completely solid and lighter than expected. For the bed I used 3/4" thick plywood and 6 pieces of 4x4 rods cut to length for the legs, I just put 3 of these screws through the plywood in each leg and it's very strong. I really couldn't ask for more. I didn't remove any of them with the power driver (which could be a problem if the screws aren't strong…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
