Unused Product: Machine Screws

The coating on the screws was so heavy that the screw broke when tightening a new or used nut. The nuts have been tested on other bolts and have worked well. Sorry for the bad rating, but the galvanized screws were junk. I would give zero stars if I could

Cons
  • No Machine

Good quality is best in Machine Screws

The only thing I don't like is the thickness of the hot dip galvanized coating. The nut will not tighten unless you clean the threads with a 1/4-20 die. It takes no more than about 5/16 thread hunting. I put them in treated decking wood so they need to be galvanized to prevent corrosion.

Pros
  • Screws
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Beware of the cheap screws

I bought these with the impression they would work fine with the torx nuts I bought. Same size, same thread. The threads on the bolts were so worn they wouldn't even wrap themselves in a nut. They are required for tools and are needed so that they can be easily switched on. return to amazon.

Pros
  • Mounting screws
Cons
  • Piggy bank price
