It works! in Doorstop

I bought a fold down stopper at a hardware store and it's very good except it slides on our tile floor most of the time. I replaced the rubber stopper that came with the kit with this one and now it stops perfectly every time. I am very happy. Just use the screw of your old one if the supplied screws are not long enough.

Pros
  • Wow
Cons
  • No Automatic

Simple and inexpensive

My doorstop didn't work because it just slid across the tiled floor. The doorstop had a tip with circles instead of the deep grooves on this one. We bought tips and replaced the old ones with these and now the limiter works great. It was a simple and inexpensive solution to the problem.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not bad

This stops the door. Best in Furniture Hardware

This is a doorstop. Goes well with our doorstop. I measured the one I was replacing to make sure it would fit. Fits perfectly. Please note that the original screw works better than the screw that comes with this replacement rubber tip. The old doorstops didn't have this thread. Easy to change. Do not throw away the original screw until you have checked the threads of the new screw. Holds the ground very well.

Pros
  • Outstanding Overall
Cons

Rubber material quality is mediocre

Doesn't look nearly as good as pictured! It was like the shape of the production machine had a defect, so one of the end ribs was just cut flat. It doesn't look pretty but I just attached this flat piece to the door so you can't see it when you open the door. In general, everything works. Just note that the rubber is not as good as in these photos, feels cheap and sticky and the color is darker than in the picture. But he does what he has to.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Snaps onto any surface

I manage a construction site. Our solid wood doors can withstand a full flame for 30 minutes. Heavy things with gas springs that force the doors to close. The sturdy doorstops I've installed are good, but the rubber that's attached is incredibly strong and stiff, so it doesn't lock onto the floor very well. Some say they don't like the quality of the rubber, but I like it. It's soft enough for the doorstop to click into place on any surface. It works great on my stone tile and laminate floors…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

They stop doors well

These doorstops match my old doorstops. The screws fit too. I was pleasantly surprised as the stoppers in my doors looked quite old. Rubber is not too soft and not too hard. So they stop the doors in turn. Not perfect. I have to press my foot on the doorstop to get a good grip on the hard floor. But once they hit the bottom, they stop the door perfectly. If I just flip the lever down and let gravity do its job, they don't close the door as well. They tend to slip a little. But I'm glad I have…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires socket
