Cuts easily with wire cutters. Make sure your joystick has no angle/curvature. This product is flat and may rub against the inner wall, causing friction and problems when filling the tank.

I'm not very good at DIY, but this inexpensive toilet lever was pretty damn easy to install. I didn't even need any tools. I simply stuck a long piece of plastic into the opening of the tank and attached a metal chain to one of the hinges. Very easy.

I have a regular toilet so I chose this handle which is advertised as universal and adjustable. Neither the one nor the other. Plastic cracks when "cut to size" and doesn't fit my side handle toilet. Even if it could be cut, there aren't enough holes to connect the chain.

I was surprised that this part is all plastic. The photo showed that the handle is plastic and the shackle is metal, but it is black plastic. It still worked for me since my grip is attached to the front and I didn't have to bend mine. It works great! I also hope it lasts!

The description says this lever will fit most toilets, including those with side handles. I had no luck as when trying to bend and shape this lever to fit our side toilet, the lever broke completely in half. I think this lever would work well on a front mounted toilet, but avoid it if your handle is on the side.
