I needed an 8" doorstop so I ordered it. The actual package is 9.4 inches. This is a standard 4 inch doorstop. It's attractive.

Unusable because dropdown is ALWAYS at the bottom. There is no bracket or spring to support it when not in use, which is 95% of the time. Not installed, just kicked out. Very durable look if you always want the door to stop opening.

We live on a very cool island, so our house has never been air-conditioned. However, open windows often caused doors to slam shut throughout the home when the wind blew.
