too thick, won't fit main kit

I have no idea who it's for. The thickness of the hose is so great that it cannot fit into conventional barbed fittings of different brands. I tried EK, Bitspower and Alphacool and they didn't match any of them. can't even put it on the fitting let alone put it through the locking outer part.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

High-quality hard-soft hose reminiscent of a hard tube.

Big thickness so there are no kinks. Slightly more difficult to attach or remove from compression fittings compared to thinner tubing. Pipe stiffness should be considered if your cooling components can withstand the bending force of the pipe. Fair price, lots of hoses to experiment with or for bugs and bonus liquids to work with. Good shine and I think it looks as strong as hard cane if you cut your lengths perfectly.

Pros
  • One year probationary period
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

Indecently tough: computers and accessories

I've only heard good things about this tube, but after two hours and ten minor hand injuries I'm not very impressed. The hose itself is very stiff and requires some force to slide it onto my compression fittings. (yes, the size is right) I pressed on the tube so hard my hand slipped and I cut myself on the edges and small bits of metal inside my PC. I can't comment on how the tube performs over time, but I can't imagine it being much better than the unnamed (and five times cheaper) tube I had…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • The list will be long.

It is very difficult to work.

I'm sure it's a great handset but I've had a really hard time working with it. I couldn't fit it into the XSPC barb without a hair dryer and it's not possible to tighten the fasteners on the barb to secure it. My fingers are currently blistered and calloused from trying to work with this whistle and I cannot justify brand recognition with the difficulty of working with this material.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Interval

Painful when used in computer components

Monstrous thing. Doesn't bend. It's heavy and puts unnecessary stress on your fittings and, worse, where those fittings screw into place. 2 years of distilled water and 2 drops of PTNuke, that bulky tube was still cloudy and impossible to clean, so I just had to throw it out. This hose doesn't go well with EKWB fittings - even heating the hose in hot water in front of the fittings made it impossible to get the retaining ring anywhere near the barb. and it's impossible to get that curve out…

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
  • Compatibility

These tubes contain a chemical plasticizer which will decompose if used in a hot circuit. This causes a "frosty" effect that covers EVERYTHING and is permanent as far as I know. Useful if your computer doesn't see high temps, but for those of us who haven't done our homework and used this junk my only solution now is to either replace everything or hope the added layer doesn't ruin my temps .

Pros
  • Unreliable like all

Flexible. Clean. decent price. Good hose!

I have been using this hose for a month now. I don't see any signs of discoloration or residue. 10 feet was more than enough for my loop. I have about 3 feet left. Comes with a bottle of Sys Prep to pre-treat your loop and a bottle of Utopia to protect against algae and corrosion. I used hose clamps on all the spiked fittings. The hose is soft enough to hold and not leak. However, it is quite difficult not to split and tear. Would definitely recommend and will buy again for my next user cycle!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • sad package
