I like that it reminds me of my childhood and my family's drip. I took it as a spare and in case my other one stopped working.

Good pan strainers and everything works great, easy to clean. The lid is a little loose and doesn't hold the heat very long. I used a coffee press for the first time and found it a lot harder to use than my 12 cup drip can and it uses 2 to 4 times the coffee grounds.

The price is as it pleases except for the screaming quality. However, I would pay more for one made somewhere other than China. Unfortunately I couldn't find one that was tight on top and had a silicone plunger/filter.

This French Press works like any other, is as easy to clean as any, but is advertised as vacuum insulated, which it certainly isn't. Unlike other insulated containers, this double-walled press feels very hot on the outside and does not keep the coffee warmer than a glass mug.

We drink a lot of coffee. My husband and son both drink it in the morning and afternoon/early evening. Given what's going on with my quarantine sleep schedule, I should probably consider going back to evening beans myself, or waking up at 5am and freezing at 8pm. This is a normal French Press. Saving Grace is isolating ability. This helps keep the coffee warm for much longer than my traditional glass press. The grip and top of the butt are made of black plastic, which unfortunately looks like cheap plastic. The stitching is visible on the plastic, giving it a cheap look. It's a shame because the stainless steel itself looks nice so it would be nice if they weren't chinese with plastic. The stainless steel is easy to clean and the insulated thermos helps
