Polytip Bristle brushes are another Princeton breakthrough that advances the science of synthetic hair. Tip of each individual hair has been split to replicate the natural flags on the finest natural bristle. Holds a higher volume of paint while providing a smoother application. Designed for use with medium to heavy-bodied acrylics and oil paints. A filbert is a brush shaped like an oval at the tip and is tapered to a chisel edge. The shape of a filbert makes it useful for basecoating round or curved areas, applying washes and painting flowers.

Good brush

Flexible, bristles do not fly off or fly off, holds and applies paint well, feels good in hand, looks durable, easy to clean. There's no arguing with the Princeton Catalyst Polytype.

Ideal for gluing paper products.

This brush is great for gluing collages together. The short handle brush is easy to use and the bristles are slightly stiff making them easy to clean with water when using an adhesive like Mod Podge.

Excellent brush.

Bought this brush for applying gel in my art magazines and mixed media. Love it. Just the right size, cleans well and resists gel use. It's also stiff enough to smooth out creases on the page.
